Life offered an opportunity for me to get into the dreamland of filmmaking,
I took the leap of faith.
MY STORY

It started when I was 7 years old. I used to live in my head. I imagined my first battle scene between my cars and my action figures. I had made buildings with my Harry Potter and Archies comic books. It even included a moat with a cotton thread wound around the buildings in a circle. These would be destroyed in battle.

I have always liked being in my head, making up stories and scenarios. My grandfather being a wonderful storyteller used to tell me stories of mythical wars, folklore, his life experiences in such a passionate and descriptive way. I would visualise all this in my head, in great and vivid detail. He also introduced me to the world of movies when I was obsessing over the world of cartoons. He took me into the world of Hitchcock, J Lee Thompson, Robert Wise, David Lean, Stanley Kubrick, Scorsese, Lucas etc. I started watching movies from a very young age and that led me to the performing arts ( Theatre) for the next 16 years

I completed my schooling in Chettinad Vidhyashram and my undergraduate education (BBA) at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College.
My Mother encouraged me to always follow my heart.
I found some great support from my Head of Department Mr Sriram which helped me with my journey.
I also found my mentors Mr Krishna Kumar
( Masquerade) , Mr Jayakumar
( Koothu-p-pattari & Magic Lantern) ,
Mr Hans Kaushik (Magic Lantern),
Mr Kumaravel and Mr Rajkumar during this period.

I got deep into being an Actor, Director, Writer, Trainer, Stage Manager, Technical Director etc. and learnt everything about the world of theatre, storytelling and performance. I did shows in Chennai, Bangalore, Mysore, Kerala, Bombay, Delhi, Pondicherry. Over the years i have performed in over 63 productions with multiple theatre groups and over 180+ shows. Which introduced me to Girish Karnad , Rathan Thiyam , Poilie Sengupta, Gautham Raja, Dharamvir Bharathi, David mamet , Kafka , Shakespeare , Bertolt Brecht , Ayn Rand and Samuel Beckett which opened my perspective. However, my obsession over films never stopped.

I kept experimenting with passion projects and short films. Some were drastically embarrassing, some taught me lessons. While this learning went on, I found a career in training and coaching children, young adults, professional actors and corporate managers in theatre, communication and conflict management.
I was lucky enough to get a chance to interact , understand and train over 8,500 people over the years from various walks of life.

Looking back at all that i have experienced, listened to, spoken about, read , felt and observed has only enriched my world view and my approach towards the craft of storytelling. I am extremely grateful that my stories have traveled abroad.

I am just looking forward to telling more diverse, impactful, fun, witty and thought provoking stories.
